Embedded Systems Engineer Project Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Embedded Systems Engineer to lead the development and manufacturing of our IoT platform. As a key member of our Engineering team, you will be responsible for managing firmware and hardware development projects, ensuring seamless integration of embedded systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Scoping and planning projects for both internal and external customers
  • Leading firmware and hardware development from concept through to manufacturing, ensuring successful integration of embedded systems
  • Reporting on project status including schedule and budget
  • Apply embedded systems engineering methodologies, including hardware-firmware integration, to guide projects from development to deployment
  • Contribute to the project management framework
  • Continual process improvements

Requirements:

  • Proven experience leading firmware and hardware development projects
  • Strong background in embedded systems, electronics, and C/C++ firmware
  • Hands-on experience with microcontrollers, PCB design, and debugging tools
  • Expertise in integrating sensors, wireless communication, and low-power IoT
  • Systems Engineering skills (Requirements, Architecture, Verification & Validation)
  • Experience managing project timelines, budgets, and technical risks
  • Ability to conduct DFMEA/PFMEA for robust product design
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation
  • Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
