About the Role

AECOM is seeking an experienced Design Manager – Dams to join our team in Australia. As a key member of our Dams Group, you will be responsible for leading the design delivery of dams projects, ensuring they are completed within quality, time, and budget constraints.

With a strong background in dams engineering and design, you will have a proven track record of delivering large projects on time, within budget, and to outstanding quality. Your excellent communication skills and high-quality technical and non-technical report writing will enable you to effectively engage with project delivery teams, end clients, and contractors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design delivery of dams projects, ensuring they meet quality, time, and budget constraints.
  • Utilize your expertise in dams engineering and design to guide project delivery teams and ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with end clients and contractors to ensure effective project delivery.
  • Collaborate with leaders across our ANZ team to deliver projects and assist with project resourcing and business initiatives.
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and consulting experience in dams engineering and design.
  • Proven track record of delivering large projects on time, within budget, and to outstanding quality.
  • Excellent communication skills and high-quality technical and non-technical report writing.
  • Client relationship and management skills and experience.
