Geotechnical Engineer

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects related to dam safety, geotechnical design, and construction management. Your primary focus will be on providing geotechnical analysis and conceptual to detailed design of water dams, retarding basins, and service basins.
You will also be responsible for inspection, investigation, and condition assessment of existing dams, as well as scoping and undertaking geotechnical investigations. Additionally, you will evaluate foundation conditions and characterise the engineering properties of foundation and construction materials.
RequirementsWe are looking for candidates with a degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering or a related discipline. You will have demonstrated capability in geotechnical design, including the preparation of design reports, design drawings, and specifications. You will also have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to develop and nurture relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, and local industry professionals.
As a positive and innovative thinker, you will be able to see challenges as opportunities to grow and collaborate. You will have a strong understanding of the dams industry and be able to provide expert advice on geotechnical design and construction management.
