Our organization seeks a highly skilled and experienced Data Automation Specialist to enhance the data integration, analysis, and visualization capabilities within our agency.

Job Description

The successful candidate will possess a unique blend of technical mastery and strategic thinking, thriving in a dynamic and highly secure environment. They will be a proactive problem-solver with a meticulous approach to data, capable of transforming complex requirements into innovative and robust data automation solutions.

They will design and develop automated data pipelines to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from diverse and complex internal and external sources. The specialist will ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across all integrated data sets, optimising data acquisition and processing workflows for efficiency and scalability.

The role requires collaboration with stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into technical solutions. The specialist will work closely with business units and subject matter experts to gather requirements and validate solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Experience in database development, automation, and implementation is essential. Advanced visualisation and report writing skills in Power BI, Power Apps, Microsoft Forms, and SQL server reporting services are also required.

Effective data management and visualisation skills enabling the construction of a compelling story tailored to a variety of audiences are necessary. Experience with cloud data platforms and advanced scripting for data transformation is also desirable.

Understanding of data governance and master data management principles is crucial. Proven ability to design and implement automated data pipelines and data models leveraging off strong analytical acumen is essential.
