Exceptional Dementia Care Leader

Located in the heart of Armstrong Creek, our state-of-the-art aged care residence offers a comprehensive array of senior care services. We are seeking a dedicated professional to lead our Memory Support Unit.

About Our Facility

Ours is a modern and vibrant residential aged care home that proudly caters to the diverse needs of older people seeking quality nursing home and aged care options in the Geelong and Surf Coast region.

We offer an extensive range of on-site services including a community medical centre, allied health services including a hydrotherapy pool, gym, physiotherapy, dietetics and podiatry, a resident's sports bar and café, and virtual reality cinema.

Job Description
  • Provide exceptional dementia care working closely with a high-performing team to ensure a safe and supportive environment for residents.
  • Manage medication administration and wound care.
  • Drive continuous clinical improvement for excellence in care.
  • Support residents, families, and visitors with professionalism.
  • Ensure timely assessments, care plans, and reviews.
  • Lead clinical education and staff competency training.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative workplace culture.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum two years' experience in a clinical leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards.
  • Eligibility to work in Australia.
