Occupational Therapist Career Opportunity

This position involves providing occupational therapy services to students across various educational settings. As an occupational therapist, you will play a critical role in supporting students with diverse needs and abilities.
You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with educators, support staff, and other healthcare professionals to provide evidence-based services that cater to individual student requirements.
Key responsibilities include assessing and implementing interventions for children and adults with disabilities, collaborating with educators to develop effective communication strategies, and assisting clients and educators with assistive technology assessment and recommendations.
A key aspect of this role is maintaining accurate and timely documentation to support education funding submissions and program development. You will also be responsible for managing a varied caseload aligned to student-specific goals and participating in school-based and internal team meetings.
Requirements and Qualifications- Relevant tertiary qualifications in occupational therapy or a related field
- Preferred experience: working with culturally diverse populations, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
- Professional registration (e.g., AHPRA/SPA) and relevant certifications (e.g., Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check)
