Junior API Developer for Decentralized Applications

Openmesh Network is a pioneering open-source project that aims to revolutionize data management and accessibility. Our team of 26 experts, based in Sydney, brings diverse experience from prominent Web3 projects, including Fantom, Ripple, Ethereum, Cosmos, AWS, and Aragon.
Our mission is to create a decentralized cloud network that combines the best features of AWS, IPFS, Chainlink, Bit Torrent, and Oracle Cloud. Openmesh provides immutable data via Open APIs and offers Web2/Web3 Infrastructure as a Service through Xnode.
About the RoleWe are seeking a talented Junior API Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of advanced API solutions for decentralized applications. As a key member of our team, you will design, develop, and maintain APIs within the Unified APIS framework, ensuring seamless integration for decentralized applications.
You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize API solutions in Xnode, contributing to efficient data connectivity and interaction across the decentralized data cloud.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain APIs within the Unified APIS framework.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize API solutions in Xnode.
- Implement security measures for APIs, ensuring data integrity and protecting against potential vulnerabilities.
- Conduct performance analysis and optimize API functionality for improved efficiency and responsiveness.
- Create comprehensive API documentation for internal and external use.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
- Understanding of RESTful API design principles.
- Familiarity with API authentication and authorization protocols.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
