The Head of Category is a senior leadership role responsible for developing and executing category strategies aligned with customer needs and business objectives.
About the Role
- Develop and execute category strategies that meet customer expectations and drive commercial growth.
- Analyze data and shopper insights to identify opportunities for value creation and drive transformation initiatives.
- BUILD strong relationships with suppliers to drive joint business planning and innovation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring innovation to market faster and more effectively.
Key Responsibilities

About You
- You have proven experience in category management or buying within the fresh food sector (retail or supplier-side).
- You have a track record of driving transformation, innovation, and strong commercial results.
- You possess strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- You have an analytical mindset with a creative edge, able to think beyond data.
- You are passionate about fresh food and the evolving needs of today's customer.
