Job Overview

The role of Senior Manager IT & Cyber Security presents an exceptional opportunity to shape and elevate the IT function within the business. This newly created position offers a unique scope to develop and implement strategies that support and secure the company's operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversight of IT operations, including local and international infrastructure, ensuring smooth running and vendor management.
  • Drive key initiatives from planning through delivery, encompassing international data transfer, software development, network migration to cloud, IRAP assessment, and ERP implementation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to resolve problems with practical solutions-focused approaches.
  • Track the IT strategy's progress against company objectives and drive forward digital transformation projects.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a customer-centric IT team.
  • Maintain security, overseeing cyber security, compliance, and risk management.
Requirements:
  • Australian citizenship (eligible for NV1/2 clearance).
  • Experience leading an IT team in a complex environment, preferably in defence.
  • Ability to set strategy and get hands-on when needed.
  • Solutions-focused, collaborative, and excellent communication skills.
  • Strong expertise across IT operations, infrastructure management, and cyber security.
  • Prioritisation, forward planning, and influencing at every level.
