Housekeeping Supervisor Job

We are seeking a motivated and organized individual to oversee our housekeeping team and maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and guest comfort.

This role involves managing day-to-day housekeeping operations, supporting and training staff, and ensuring all guest accommodation and public areas are immaculate and welcoming.

  • Lead housekeeping staff to uphold exceptional cleanliness and presentation standards.
  • Coordinate daily housekeeping operations and prioritize workload efficiently.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure consistency in standards and address any issues promptly.
  • Manage inventory of linen, cleaning supplies, and amenities, and coordinate with suppliers as needed.
  • Foster a positive team culture and encourage professional development among staff.
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve any housekeeping concerns to ensure an outstanding guest experience.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role within the hospitality sector.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to lead by example, motivate a diverse team, and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Sound knowledge of cleaning procedures, health and safety requirements, and best practices within the hotel industry.
  • A proactive, problem-solving attitude and the ability to manage competing priorities.
