Electrical Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team in Brisbane.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have relevant electrical engineering experience (3-7 years) and current knowledge of LV and HV system design, cable sizing, protection systems, substations, motor controls, and switchboards.

Power systems modelling using software such as Power tools for Windows, eTap, and Power Cad 5 will also be essential. Experience with DigSILENT Power Factory would be advantageous.

You will work on various projects, including those related to mining, infrastructure, utilities, and manufacturing industries. Your ability to deliver projects on time, on budget, and to required standards will be crucial.

Your Skills & Qualifications

  1. Relevant electrical engineering experience (3-7 years)
  2. Design exposure to LV and HV system design, cable sizing, protection systems, substations, motor controls, and switchboards
  3. Power systems modelling using software (e.g., Power tools for Windows, eTap, Power Cad 5)
  4. Testing and commissioning experience (FAT, SAT)
  5. Engineering experience in mining, infrastructure, utilities, or manufacturing industries
  6. Experience generating study reports, scopes of work, equipment specifications, and datasheets
  7. AutoCAD and/or Micro station drawing package proficiency
  8. Able to maintain engineering standards across all designs and projects
  9. Willingness to work onsite to support clients and perform project tasks
