Water Park Maintenance Professional

The Water Park Maintenance Professional is responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our water park facilities. This includes regular maintenance tasks such as cleaning, inspecting, and repairing equipment, as well as performing minor repairs to buildings and grounds.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining mechanical systems, including pumps, motors, and kitchen equipment.
  • Performing general maintenance on park interiors, exteriors, roofing, restrooms, food buildings, and pump rooms.
  • Leading carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical tasks.
  • Repairing electrical, plumbing, pumps, motors, welding, carpentry, fiberglass, and HVAC systems.
  • Completing handyman tasks like painting and concrete repairs.
  • Keeping maintenance records and using CMMS software.
  • Conducting inspections and prioritizing safety-related repairs.
  • Assisting with water quality and attraction inspections as needed.

Requirements:

  • High School Certificate or trade qualification (desirable).
  • Manual Handling, Confined Space, and Working at Heights training.
  • Fluent English language skills.

Skills:

  • Strong mechanical skills and experience with tools and landscaping equipment.
  • Proficiency in handyman tasks and problem-solving.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

Experience:

  • Trade background in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, or landscaping.
  • Mechanic and welding experience (preferred).
  • Knowledge of commercial pools and systems (desirable).

  • Flexible working hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Adherence to company policies and conduct.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Physical fitness required for walking, lifting, bending, and other physical tasks.
