Job Title: Parks Maintenance Professional
Parks and Streetscape Operations Job Description:The Parks Maintenance Professional plays a vital role in maintaining and enhancing Council's parks, sportsfields, open spaces, and recreational areas. As part of the team, you will contribute to achieving performance targets and service commitments.
Main Responsibilities:- Carry out various operational tasks and activities to ensure the successful delivery of services that benefit the local community.
- Work collaboratively within a supportive team environment to engage with internal stakeholders and meet performance targets.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge relevant to the role.
- A relevant horticultural qualification or equivalent industry experience in parks and sportsfields operations.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills for effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to learn and use field devices for managing daily team work plans.
- A valid Class C Motor Vehicle Driver's Licence is essential.
- A suitable level of fitness is required to perform the inherent duties of the position.
- Experience working in Local Government.
- Holding ChemCert or equivalent qualifications would be advantageous.
- Demonstrated experience with field devices for managing daily team work plans is highly regarded.
