Job Title: Blockchain Developer

We are seeking a skilled Blockchain Developer to join our team at PetsApp. As a Blockchain Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying blockchain-based solutions for our innovative chess platform, Checkmate Live.

About Checkmate Live

Checkmate Live is a cutting-edge chess platform that combines web2 and web3 technologies. Our platform utilizes blockchain technology to enable digital collectibles, innovative game mechanics, secure payment rails, and fair play measures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop smart contracts for platform functionality, including DeFi applications and game mechanics.
  • Implement and manage cross-chain minting capabilities across EVM-compatible chains.
  • Integrate and optimize USDC or other stablecoin usage within the platform.
  • Manage platform treasury, including multi-chain asset management.
  • Develop blockchain-based fair play measures.
  • Collaborate with AI/ML teams to integrate blockchain solutions.
  • Peer review existing smart contracts and provide detailed feedback.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
Requirements
  • Strong proficiency in Solidity smart contract development, including experience with Ethereum and Arbitrum.
  • Familiarity with relevant ERC standards for tokens, NFTs, and other blockchain applications.
  • Ability to create contracts for NFT collectibles and game mechanics.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of new blockchain standards and their potential applications for Checkmate Live.
  • Experience implementing and working with USDC or other programmatic stablecoins.
  • Understanding of cross-chain minting and asset management on EVM-compatible chains.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript and experience with MySQL database management.
  • Familiarity with blockchain development tools (Hardhat, etc.).
  • Strong grasp of blockchain security concepts, especially in EVM environments.
  • Experience in handling crypto transactions, wallets, and treasury management.
Desirable Skills
  • Interest in chess and esports.
  • Experience with additional Layer 1 and Layer 2 solutions.
  • Expertise in advanced cross-chain interactions and bridges.
  • Game development or blockchain gaming background.
  • Real-time data handling and websockets knowledge.
  • Experience with blockchain applications in media and gaming.
  • Understanding of AI/ML concepts and their integration with blockchain.
