Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Demand Planning Strategist to join our team.
The ideal candidate will bring sharp analytical thinking, strong stakeholder engagement, and a passion for continuous improvement to drive forecast accuracy and business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and optimize demand planning processes from new product launches to promotional forecasting.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align assumptions, challenge plans, and drive forecast accuracy.
- Lead scenario planning and root cause analysis to support agile decision-making.
- Represent demand planning in key meetings, bridging the gap between supply chain and sales.
- Take ownership of strategic processes like NPD, S&OE, or long-term forecasting, rotating quarterly.
About You
- Stakeholder management: Build effective relationships to achieve business objectives.
- Advanced analytical abilities: Interpret complex data and manipulate statistical models to improve forecast performance.
- Proficiency with SAP IBP DP: Experience in SAP and driving technological innovation.
- Commercial acumen: Discuss changes within the demand environment and relate them to business impact.
- Effective communication and storytelling: Simplify complex data and convey insights across stakeholders, especially the Commercial team.
- Root cause analysis and problem solving: Transform processes, people, and technology based on a solid understanding of the problem.
