Infrastructure Trade Worker

- Maintain the upkeep of all school buildings, properties, and grounds to ensure they remain safe and functional.
- Undertake minor renovations to school buildings including classrooms, offices, boarding, and residential properties.
- Repair furniture and fittings, and undertake small furniture manufacture or fabrication as needed.
- Assist in the construction of minor building projects.
- Provide relief and support to other members of the Building and Grounds Department when required.
- Contribute to the setup of school functions, meetings, and classrooms.
- Demonstrated experience working across multiple trades.
- Proven skills in carpentry or a similar industry.
- Awareness of relevant workplace health and safety (WHS) issues.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas clearly.
- A solutions-focused, positive, and collaborative approach to work.
- Ability to perform moderate physical demands associated with the role.
- Basic computer literacy is essential for this position.
- A valid Working with Children Check and driver's licence are mandatory.
- Certificate of completion for Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse, and Neglect training and First Aid qualifications are preferred but not mandatory.
