Senior FPGA Engineer

This firm seeks a Senior FPGA Engineer to lead their technology team in Sydney. As a leader, you will design and deliver innovative hardware-accelerated solutions while mentoring a team of FPGA engineers.

About the Role
  • Design and architect FPGA solutions to accelerate critical areas of trading infrastructure.
  • Mentor and lead a team of FPGA engineers in the design, verification, and implementation of RTL designs (VHDL, Verilog, SystemVerilog, or HLS).
  • Implement end-to-end solutions from board level to API and deploy into production environments.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, traders, and strategy developers to integrate hardware and software solutions.
Requirements
  • Expertise in FPGA design and architecture is essential.
  • Hands-on experience with VHDL, Verilog, SystemVerilog, or HLS is required.
  • Knowledge of Ethernet and TCP/IP is preferred.
  • Prior exposure to financial markets or trading systems is highly valued but not necessary.
  • Natural curiosity, strong problem-solving skills, and a drive to innovate are key qualities for success.
