About the Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our EPMO and Portfolio Management function. As a key member of our Executive Management Group, you will be responsible for providing strategic guidance and governance to support the delivery of our business objectives.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in EPMO/Portfolio management, with experience in building relationships and managing outsourced providers. They will also have a strong understanding of business change and technology implementations, with a focus on delivering business value.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a project governance structure to support the smooth delivery of projects
  • Facilitate coordination between and among projects, ensuring effective integration and management of interdependencies
  • Regularly report progress to the Chief Operating Officer and leadership, escalating issues and providing recommendations
  • Develop and drive the EPMO Operating Plan to deliver business objectives

About You

We are looking for an individual with a strong strategic mindset, who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and is able to build relationships with senior stakeholders. You will have a proven ability to lead and manage a team, with a focus on delivering business value.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in EPMO/Portfolio management
  • Project Management/PMO qualifications (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, P3O)
  • Demonstrated experience in building relationships and managing outsourced providers
  • Proven experience in business change and technology implementations
  • Experience in Financial Services is a must
