Diagnostic Imaging Specialist Opportunity at Greencross Vets

We are seeking a highly skilled Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Greencross Vets. This is an exceptional opportunity for a talented professional to work with cutting-edge diagnostic equipment and contribute to delivering outstanding veterinary care.

About the Role:

  • Conduct advanced diagnostic imaging procedures, including radiography, ultrasound, CT, MRI, and fluoroscopy.
  • Interpret and analyze diagnostic images to identify and diagnose medical conditions in animals.
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team of veterinarians to guide appropriate treatment and intervention.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of imaging procedures and patient data.
  • Provide guidance and support to veterinary staff regarding diagnostic imaging techniques and findings.
  • Offer education to staff and referral partners on diagnostic imaging protocols.
  • Advise on the purchase and upgrading of diagnostic imaging equipment and the expansion of existing imaging services.

Requirements:

  • A veterinary degree registrable in Australia with specialist qualifications (FANZCVS, ACVR, or ECVDI Board-certified).
  • Commitment to providing gold standard patient care and a fear-free approach to patient handling.
  • The confidence and initiative to work autonomously while leaning on your team as needed.
