About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Specialist to join our Quality team in Western Australia. Reporting to our Quality Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the development and delivery of QA/QC standards across the site. This is a FIFO role with a 3/1 roster, with Perth as the point of hire.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the project quality strategy, including the Project Quality Plan (PQP) and QA procedures.
  • Coordinate site/field inspections to ensure compliance with contract specifications, technical standards, and quality policies.
  • Develop quality data and experimental designs for KPIs, and provide guidance on the development of Construction Work Packs/Construction Briefs.
  • Initiate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), review, and approve disposition action plans.
  • Complete and administer quality audits and monitoring of sub-contractors, and collaborate with 3rd Party organisations to review and process inspection test results.
  • Manage and deliver quality documentation across the project, and work closely with the completions team for commissioning of plant and equipment.
  • Submit project deliverable records and report progress of MDR status, and participate in project risk analysis and safety reviews.
  • Demonstrate leadership abilities and evaluate training needs and assess gap analysis.
  • Report and assist with quality records compilation for monthly progress claim.

About You

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Experience with quality management practices, including TQM, Kaizen, Lean, and Six Sigma.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A strong understanding of quality control principles and practices.
  • Self-motivation, a positive attitude, and a willingness to encourage co-workers.
  • Ability to interpret specifications, technical drawings, and schematic diagrams.
  • Willingness to work FIFO on a 3/1 roster with Perth as the point of hire.
