Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Training and Development Specialist to join our team in the Refinery Operations department.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering training programs, assessing personnel competence, and developing new training courses to meet business requirements. This is a permanent position working directly for Glencore, offering a diverse range of opportunities across our multi-pit mining operations through to our complex hydrometallurgical process plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct training and assessment of Operations personnel, including updating current training programs and assisting with the development of new training courses.
  • Undertake administrative tasks associated with training and assessing, including maintaining employee learning paths and other training records in Oracle Learner Management (OLM).
  • Process Plant Inductions, Developing training packages, Conducting training needs analyses, and Conducting face fits for full and half face respirators.
Requirements
  • A high level of health, safety, and environmental awareness.
  • Demonstrated recent experience in delivering training in a minerals processing or refining operation and associated current qualifications.
  • Willingness to complete administration tasks associated with keeping accurate training records and maintaining an on-line learning portal.
  • Previous experience in reviewing, developing, and writing training packages.
  • High Risk Licence, WA “C” Class Driver's Licence.
