About the Opportunity
">Hope Community Services is seeking a skilled Senior Family Violence Counsellor to join our team in Armadale. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team providing integrated services to individuals and families affected by family violence.
">Job Description

- Provide individual counselling to clients affected by family violence, developing and implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to their unique needs.">
- Manage a caseload of clients, ensuring regular follow-up and consistent support, maintaining detailed records of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes.">
- Provide clinical supervision, mentorship, and support to other staff within the FDV Hub, facilitating professional development opportunities and training sessions for staff.">
- Work closely with the FDV Hub team, including Safety Advocates, Lawyers, and other staff, to provide integrated services, liaising with external agencies to ensure holistic support for clients.">
Requirements
">- ">
- A relevant tertiary degree, qualifications in Community Services, or equivalent experience working in the sector providing support to people experiencing family, domestic, and/or sexual violence.">
- Demonstrated experience in risk assessment, trauma-informed practice, safety planning, crisis support, DFV counselling, system advocacy, and case management.">
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, including being an active team member, with a strong understanding of the impact of family and domestic violence on individuals and families.">
