Pest Control Technician Role

Rentokil Initial, a leading pest control provider in Australia, is seeking a skilled Pest Control Technician to join our team in the Darwin area.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, working autonomously, and maintaining high-quality pest control standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect customer premises for signs of pests and implement measures to eliminate them
  • Clean and remove evidence of pest behavior
  • Advise customers on maintenance and hygiene practices to prevent pest infestations
  • Complete accurate Service Reports after each visit

Requirements:

  • Valid Australian driver's license (manual license preferred)
  • Confident use of mobile phone service apps/tablets
  • Interest in pest control or related industry experience
  • Ability to obtain a Working with Children Check

A Typical Day:

You will have your own company vehicle at home, and in your company uniform, you'll either travel to your first customer of the day or head to the depot to load your van with stock for your day's work.

Your day will be spent visiting a number of different customers, servicing their sites by inspecting premises, cleaning and removing evidence of pest behavior, advising on maintenance and hygiene practices, and completing accurate Service Reports.

Whilst you don't need to be an athlete, you will work up a sweat servicing multiple sites, so you would need to be physically fit.

You will be responsible for your own health and safety, ensuring your vehicle is safe at all times and taking care on the road.
