Job Title: Product Content Manager

As a Product Content Manager, you will be responsible for owning product content on our client's retail websites. This includes ensuring the quality, accuracy, and consistency of product information, managing marketplace listings, and optimizing marketing performance.

You will act as a key liaison between the Merchandising and Ecommerce teams, taking responsibility for processes around product content, including collating information from suppliers and processing into the PIM. Your goal is to enrich, organize, and promote products online based on agreed criteria, working with offshore product content teams, suppliers, and merchandise teams to develop copy, photography, and video for products when required.

The role requires leading the product lifecycle and enrichment program with Merchandise and supplier teams to optimize content for quality and discoverability. You must ensure accurate and engaging product listings across digital platforms, including descriptions, imagery, pricing, and inventory.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Lead process improvement programs to enhance operational excellence of offshore content team
  • Develop processes with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the quality and timely addition of product content to websites & marketplaces
  • Support analysis of product content quality to optimize key category performance
  • Execute promotional activity with partners to drive sales and engagement
  • Work closely with Customer Care Teams to troubleshoot and address technical glitches or issues related to the online experience
  • Meet eCommerce Web & Marketplace performance KPIs including experience, conversion rate and revenue targets
  • Support the wider Ecommerce team on ad hoc tasks as required
Requirements

For this role, we are looking for candidates with a degree in Marketing and strong digital and eCommerce expertise. A minimum of 3 years' experience working with retail trading systems, including exposure to SAP, is required. You must have a proven ability to develop and implement new processes and structures.

Other essential skills include:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, adept at managing multiple projects
  • Advanced Excel user with analytical expertise, including pivot tables
  • Experience using Google Analytics to track, analyse, and optimize performance
  • Passion for retail, fashion, and lifestyle industries, with transferable skills for automotive
  • Commerce Platform: SAP Commerce Cloud - highly desirable
  • CMS: Contentful
  • Payment: Braintree
  • POS/Source of Truth: Pronto
