We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Architect to join our team at Leidos. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for managing the security architecture of our solutions, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Security Architecture Management: Develop and implement security architecture for our solutions, ensuring integration with security models of external systems.
- Design Decisions: Contribute to design decisions associated with security architecture and security controls, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
- Security Compliance: Ensure that system security requirements are managed and addressed throughout the system life-cycle, ensuring system security compliance and approval for system operation.
- Certification and Accreditation: Achieve certification and accreditation of our solutions through ensuring the security architecture is consistent and adequately represented in the certification and accreditation process.
- System Change Reviews: Participate in system change reviews to assess the security impact of those changes, ensuring the security of our solutions.
- Security Documentation: Prepare security documentation, including Security Plans, Risk Assessments, and Certification and Accreditation packages, to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain effective working relationships across all levels, influencing key stakeholders and ensuring the security of our solutions.
- Industry Best Practices: Understand industry best-practice through attending relevant cyber security events and establishing a peer network, ensuring our solutions are aligned with industry standards.
- Education and Experience: A Bachelor degree or higher in software engineering, computer science or a related discipline, together with substantial relevant professional experience and specialised training will be highly regarded. Relevant certifications or Professional membership would be desirable.
- Professional Experience: Substantial professional experience with security architecture, certification and accreditation, with a strong understanding of Government information assurance requirements, including the Australian Government Information Security Manual.
- Industry Knowledge: Knowledge and exposure to systems and enterprise architecture, systems engineering, software and ICT engineering and interface protocols, with a strong understanding of industry best practices.
- Project Experience: Experience working on large, complex ICT projects and in Defence ICT, with a strong understanding of the security requirements of these projects.
- Clearance: A current NV1 clearance will be required, with the expectation of obtaining an NV-2 clearance.
