About the Role

The EL2 Cyber Security Architect is a senior position within the company, accountable for delivering quality outcomes across the ICT support service functions.

This role has a focus on Cyber Security across several capabilities, including Identity and Access, Cyber Security Operations, Data Storage and Analytics, Payment and Debt Management, and Public Facing Systems.

The successful candidate will work with a project team and other SMEs to ensure that the cyber security architecture supports the 'Crack Down on Fraud' program of work and meets the business requirements of the program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Resolve complex IT related issues and risks across wide-ranging activities of substantial depth involving significant detail.
  • Develop and participate in the implementation of NDIA initiatives focused on the reduction of technology risk, governance, and compliance to policies and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop IT security standards, policy, procedures, and controls for managing risks.
  • Support various business areas by ensuring stakeholders adequately address all relevant compliance standards.
Requirements
  • Minimum of five years' experience with Australian Government governance concepts with a focus on ICT, policy/standards development, documentation of frameworks, and assisting in the reporting to Senior Executive.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to mentor and provide expertise within a team environment and engage with internal/external stakeholders confidently.
  • Demonstrated experience as a cyber security architect using Microsoft products and platforms.
