Role Summary

We are currently seeking expressions of interest from experienced Nuclear industry professionals to enable a Defence business in Australia.

The successful candidate will benefit from guidance and experience of technical leads from other parts of the global business to grow the Australian business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop global relationships with AtkinsRéalis technical teams to deliver global experience locally
  • Collaborate with diverse customers and stakeholders to deliver engineering solutions
  • Contribute to the development of complex project proposals and participate in the process of securing new business opportunities or expanding the scope of existing projects
  • Provide Engineering support for design, construction and maintenance of defence platforms and infrastructure inline with stakeholder requirements and timeframes
  • Support and conduct safety and technical risk assessments
  • Forecast monitor and report upon engineering performance and to identify and mitigate technical and project risks
Desired Skills, Experience And Capabilities

Experience working in Nuclear industry

Experience in design, construction, and support of maritime / defence / platform systems

Tertiary engineering qualification

Hold or eligible to obtain Australian Government security clearance

A good understanding of the Australian government defence ecosystem

An excellent communicator, verbal (active listener) and written (able to write concisely)
