Personal Support Worker Role

You will be responsible for providing quality personal, social, and emotional care and support to residents in accordance with our values. You will play a crucial role in a resident's overall wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care such as showering, dressing, toileting, and grooming, maintaining the dignity and privacy of each resident.
  • Offer mobility support by helping residents with walking, using mobility aids, or transferring between different positions including from a bed to a wheelchair.
  • Monitor health by observing and reporting any changes in the resident's health or behavior.
  • Assist with meal requirements, ensuring residents receive the food they need and assist them in the process of eating.
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided, observations, and any changes in the resident's condition on our system.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for our residents.

Requirements:

  • Hold a Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent qualification.
  • Show adaptability, passion, and a willingness to learn.
  • Demonstrate collaborative and skilled teamwork abilities.
  • Possess friendly and effective communication skills.
