Job Description

The Small Business Banker role entails supporting business clients with lending needs.

  • Sales and Customer Service: Provide sales support for a portfolio of small business customers, build relationships with partners to create new business opportunities, and enhance customer experiences.
  • Credit Analysis and Approval: Conduct credit assessments and approve requests for temporary excesses or increased limit requirements.
  • Customer Retention: Increase our customers' footprint as their bank of choice and undertake retention-related activities.
  • Lending and Product Requests: Manage lending and product requests for small business customers.
  • Credit Risk and Compliance: Drive customer portfolio risk management and compliance.
  • Team Development: Coach and develop less experienced bankers within the team.

Requirements: Passion for customer service, experience in a lending role, ability to manage customer relationships and the credit process, strong financial/business acumen, problem-solving, time management, critical thinking, and negotiation skills are essential.
