As a vital component of the Defence industry, our team plays a crucial role in supporting the Australian Defence Force nationwide. We deliver operations and maintenance services effectively and sustainably across 100 locations.

The Role

We seek experienced technicians to join our Operations & Maintenance team at Darwin RAAF Base. This is an exciting opportunity to work in the Australia Defence environment, contributing to national security requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule and perform maintenance on fuel installation assets and equipment.
  • Diagnostics and repair in breakdown environments of fuel-related assets and equipment.
  • Project work as required on fuel installations and related assets and equipment.
  • Support subcontracted work packages.

Working under a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be based at one of our sites in Darwin, supporting the NT Region with occasional regional travel across NT. You will be part of a core crew of UGL technicians.

Requirements:
  • Cert IV Instrumentation and A-grade electrical license with relevant post-trade experience.
  • Proven experience working in fixed plant maintenance, preferably fuel services or Oil & Gas.
  • Electrical Equipment in Hazardous Areas (EEHA) training is essential.
  • Confined space and working at heights tickets are highly regarded.
  • Ensuring safety is paramount in your daily work.
  • You must currently hold or be able to obtain the appropriate Defence Security Clearance.
