Job Description

This is a leadership role responsible for overseeing the engineering and maintenance functions of a production facility. The successful candidate will be tasked with ensuring all equipment operates efficiently and reliably, while also managing departmental budgets and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers and maintenance technicians to support safe, efficient operations
  • Develop and execute strategic maintenance plans, including preventive and predictive programs, to maximize equipment reliability and minimize unplanned downtime
  • Manage departmental budgets, monitor spending, and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising performance or safety
  • Investigate equipment malfunctions, determine root causes, and implement sustainable corrective measures
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in engineering and maintenance leadership roles, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Proven ability to lead engineering projects and teams, with strong understanding of equipment design, materials, R&D, and production systems
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and experience delivering complex engineering solutions
