Role Overview:

As a skilled perioperative nurse, you will be responsible for the safe and effective care of patients undergoing surgical procedures in our clinic.

  • Patient Admission, Screening and Pre-Operative Preparation
  • Assisting Doctors with Treatment in the Procedure Room
  • Providing Safe and Effective Recovery Care to Patients
  • Patient Discharge, Assessment of Readiness and Issue of Post-Operative Instructions and Medications
  • Safe Handling and Management of Specimens, Medications, Antibiotics and Blood Products

This role requires an experienced perioperative nurse looking for a part-time opportunity. You will bring your strong clinical experience and exceptional commitment to patient care to this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Have scrub and scout experience
  • Be focused on customer service and patient care
  • Be a registered Nurse/Midwife with AHPRA
  • Have a Working with Children's Check
  • Experience in a variety of nursing areas such as midwifery, reproductive and female health, and/or infertility
