Workday Senior Certified Time and Absence Consultant

As a Workday expert, you will lead the successful deployment of Workday solutions to meet client needs. You will architect, configure, and test Workday solutions, ensuring they meet the specific requirements of each client. In addition, you will share your expertise with other Consultants to foster their development.

This role can be located anywhere within Australia or New Zealand to perform the required responsibilities.

Key Expectations

  • Provide expertise in the Workday Payroll product suite, specifically Absence & Time Tracking.
  • Lead teams in gathering and documenting client business requirements, designing and configuring Workday solutions, demonstrating configurations through prototype systems, assisting in testing, and completing knowledge transfer to clients.
  • Collaborate with the data conversion team to help convert legacy data into Workday.
  • Assist the integration consulting team in configuring and testing integrations between Workday and other third-party or custom solutions.
  • Mentor new consultants, serving as a professional role model and coach on product knowledge.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely, collaborating effectively and synergistically on team-based projects.
  • Address complex tasks and requirements when other team members need support.
  • Foster clients' intellectual and practical adoption of Workday best practices.
  • Maintain clients' ongoing satisfaction, ensuring Intecrowd is referenceable and referable once in production.
  • Provide regular status reports to project managers, keeping them informed of overall project status.
  • Innovate and suggest new approaches and tools to deploy Workday efficiently and effectively.
  • Maintain Workday certifications and qualifications.
  • Ensure functional solutions are compatible with downstream data translation (assist integrators in configuring/testing integrations between Workday and external systems).
  • Demonstrate computational thinking, identifying problem components, analyzing patterns, removing inefficient configurations or processes, and constructing algorithmic solutions scalable to ongoing client needs.
  • Contribute to and mold a culture of continuous education amongst colleagues, mentees, and managers – serve as a professional role model.
  • Provide insightful status reports to project managers, highlighting risks to project health and improvements in client adoption.
