Job Description

We are seeking a strategic and innovative professional to lead our innovation agenda and drive growth across our Beverages and Milk division. As Innovation Manager, you will be responsible for formulating, communicating, and implementing the Innovation Plan to underpin our strategic growth objectives.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in innovation process management, with a minimum of 5 years' experience within the FMCG industry, particularly in dairy. They will possess strong business acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in an autonomous environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Analysing market trends, share, and brand health data to identify issues and opportunities.
  • Initiating activities and plans to respond to these, including recommending new product opportunities and screening them for potential and feasibility.
  • Managing major innovation projects, including concept development, CAPEX submissions, and successful launch of new propositions in market.
  • Leading cross-functional project teams to deliver and launch innovation projects on time & within business case parameters.
  • Managing and communicating the innovation agenda within the liquids division.
  • Developing and executing CSR plans to ensure Lactalis sustainability objectives are met over the long term.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in innovation process management.
  • Strong business acumen and excellent communication skills.
  • Tertiary level qualifications, minimum Bachelor of Commerce/Business (Marketing Major).
  • The ability to thrive in an autonomous environment and take action.
  • Sound experience with planning and executing in-market plans.
