As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting project teams in the application of Building Information Modeling (BIM) on projects, promoting the use of appropriate tools and workflows, and contributing to the wider BIM capabilities of Grimshaw.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support project teams in the application of BIM on projects, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain project BIM workflows, ensuring seamless integration with existing processes.
  • Provide training and support to project teams on BIM tools and workflows.
  • Contribute to the development of Grimshaw's BIM strategy, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure BIM is integrated into all aspects of project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and contractors.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in BIM technology, applying this knowledge to improve Grimshaw's BIM capabilities.

Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge of Autodesk Revit or other relevant BIM authoring packages.
  • Experience with BIM tools, including model federation and coordination.
  • Strong understanding of BIM standards and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
