We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our Mercer team as the Risk Subject Matter Expert. This pivotal role involves leveraging deep Line 2 risk expertise to support the review and enhancement of policies and frameworks within Mercer Super.
This hybrid role requires working at least three days a week in the office and is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract position. The successful candidate will play a key role in a regulator-mandated risk transformation program, designing and implementing uplifted policies and frameworks while fostering a culture of risk awareness across the organization.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting design and operating effectiveness reviews of existing policies and frameworks
- Drafting updated frameworks and policies for approval
- Providing expert input into risk management practices, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices
The ideal candidate will have:
- University-level qualifications in business management or a related field
- 5-10 years of experience in a risk, compliance, or legal role, with a focus on superannuation regulation
