Occupational Therapist

At NAPA Centre, we're seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team of experts in paediatric therapy. As an Occupational Therapist, you'll work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized therapy programs that promote each child's growth and development.

We're looking for a registered OT with a passion for working with children, particularly those with neurological disorders. About the Successful Candidate:
- Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor of Applied Science or relevant Occupational Therapy degree from an accredited university.
- Strong clinical experience, preferably in a paediatric setting, with exposure to children with disabilities.
- Current registration with AHPRA, Working with Children Check, and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- CPR and First Aid certificates.
- Current Professional Indemnity Insurance.
- Current Medicare Provider Number or capacity to obtain.
- Good physical health and fitness, with the ability to lift up to 22 kg and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to communicate confidently and effectively with clients and other medical professionals.
- Display a level of professional empathy towards clients and the ability to develop rapport.
- Maintain appropriate professional boundaries with clients and their families.
- Team player with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
