We are seeking an experienced and visionary leader to spearhead our Science department at the Secondary Campus in Kenwick, Perth. As Head of Learning Area, you will be responsible for driving academic excellence and delivering a Christ-centred curriculum for Years 7–12.
Main Responsibilities:- Curriculum Development and Implementation: Oversee the creation and implementation of Science curricula across all subject areas, ensuring alignment with our curriculum framework and Christian values.
- Teacher Support and Performance Management: Supervise and develop teachers through professional growth, performance evaluation, and curriculum planning, promoting innovation and continuous improvement.
- Learning Area Governance: Manage the Learning Area budget and maintain a positive, collaborative Christian culture within the team.
- Teaching Commitment: Teach up to 0.7 FTE as part of this senior role, contributing to the delivery of high-quality education.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:- Active involvement in a local Protestant Christian church and demonstration of an exemplary Christian lifestyle;
- TRBWA registration or ability to obtain;
- Working with Children Check (WWCC) or willingness to obtain;
- Willingness to obtain a Department of Education Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check.
