We are seeking a highly skilled 2nd Officer with a Full DPO License to join our team at OSM Australia. As a 2nd Officer, you will be responsible for assisting the Chief Officer in the safe and efficient operation of the vessel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Chief Officer in the safe and efficient operation of the vessel.
- Ensure compliance with maritime regulations and safety procedures.
- Operate and maintain DP systems.
- Lead and work effectively in a team environment.
- Communicate effectively with crew members and shore-based personnel.
Requirements:
- Australian Work Rights / Australian Visa.
- Valid STCW II/1 Officer of the Watch (OOW) Certificate of Competency.
- Full Dynamic Positioning Operator (DPO) License.
- Previous experience as a 2nd Officer on AHTS / PSV vessels.
- Familiarity with DP systems and their operation.
- Strong knowledge of maritime regulations and safety procedures.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and under pressure.
