Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Specialist Anaesthetist to cover our Network Surgical Lists across various hospitals in NSW.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Cover Monday to Friday full-day lists across multiple hospitals.
  • Potential after-hours on-call obligations may apply as circumstances change.
  • Lists typically commence at 0700 hours and run to 1800 hours or to the end of the list.

Hospital and Facilities

Lismore Base Hospital is a regional referral Level 5 base hospital with state-of-the-art facilities, including an operating theatre suite, ICU/CCU, imaging, Cardiac Cath Lab, and major specialties and subspecialties.

Essential Requirements

  • Current NSW Working with Children clearance.
  • National Criminal Record clearance.
  • Evidence of vaccination/immunisation.
  • Completed mandatory training modules prior to commencement.
  • Job-ready locum with relevant anaesthetics experience.
