Water Treatment Operator Position
Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled Water Treatment Operator to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about ensuring the quality and safety of water supply.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain and monitor water treatment plants, pump stations, reservoirs, and water reticulation assets.
- Operate and maintain sewage treatment plants, sewage pump stations, and sewer reticulation assets.
- Participate in the construction and repair of water reticulation and sewer reticulation assets.
- Conduct water quality tests and keep accurate records of results.
- Prior experience in operating and maintaining water treatment facilities.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work in outdoor environments with exposure to various weather conditions and physical demands.
- 38-hour working week over a 9-day fortnight.
- Access to long service leave after 5 years.
- 4 weeks paid annual leave.
- 3 weeks sick leave per year, cumulative where unused.
