A Clinical Nurse with a proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care is required to work within the Surgical Ward.
This role offers an exceptional opportunity for a skilled and experienced nurse to make a positive impact on patients' lives while collaborating with a talented multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, assess, implement, and evaluate evidence-based care to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Adhere to AHPRA standards, code of ethics, legislative requirements, and health policies to maintain professional practice.
- Foster a learning environment through clinical presentations, supervision, teaching, and support to peers, new graduates, and students.
- Promote exceptional patient care by working collaboratively with the inter-disciplinary team and contributing to team processes and practices.
- Collaborate with external partners to ensure seamless patient care across the healthcare continuum.
- Maintain professional relationships with VMO partners using a customer service mindset to drive high-quality patient outcomes.
- AHPRA registration
- 3+ years of acute environment experience
- Senior clinical nursing experience
- 1-year minimum team leader or in-charge nursing experience (desired)
- Compliance with National Health Standards
- Initiative and teamwork skills
- Excellent communication skills
