Job Description

We are seeking an accomplished Transport Planning leader to provide technical direction, mentorship and leadership to our national Transport Planning team.

This role involves providing technical advice to support our clients in addressing their transport challenges. The successful candidate will have experience in a broad range of projects, including policy and guidance, strategy development, multi-modal transport plans, place-based transport plans, movement and place frameworks, options analysis, and business case development.

The ideal candidate will be able to lead business development activities, contribute to the development and execution of the wider Advisory, Planning and Technology Business Unit's strategy and achievement of targets, and participate in Arcadis global forums relevant to Transport Planning.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline.
  • Membership and/or active involvement with relevant industry bodies.
  • Previous consulting experience with a strong track record of client delivery.
  • Established client and industry networks.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to direct reports and proposals, lead meetings, prepare and deliver presentations to a high standard.
  • Experience in leading multi-discipline project teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide thought leadership.
