Senior Legal Content Developer

We seek an experienced and diligent Senior Legal Content Developer to work on our projects. This role offers the chance to combine legal expertise with innovative technology to produce high-quality legal information.

About the Role
  • Develop and classify legal information in the form of headnotes, historical notes, abstracts/synopses, headings, analysis, indexes, highlights, and other text.
  • Review and edit legal information created by colleagues and external contributors.
  • Meet editorial publishing schedules and quality standards.
  • Consult with multiple departments regarding business aspects as required.
  • Verify own work and that of colleagues and external contributors for accuracy, completeness, and quality, ensuring proper presentation and organisation.
  • Maintain and develop legal knowledge and skills training to complete work and stay current on legal trends and developments.
  • Participate in employee evaluation processes.
Requirements
  • An Australian Law degree is mandatory.
  • Post-qualification legal experience or similar experience is desirable.
  • Strong legal research skills and familiarity with Australian legal resources are essential.
  • Ability to interpret, analyse, organise, and communicate complex legal material.
  • Strong attention to detail and understanding of its importance from a customer perspective.
  • A commitment to team and personal goals.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently.
