Application Packager Role

We are seeking a skilled Application Packager to join our team at oobe, a Fujitsu company. As a leader in enabling the Federal Government to adopt cloud solutions, we require an individual with extensive knowledge in application packaging, upgrades, and deployments in a large-scale hybrid Windows environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, create, test, and deploy application packages in a managed desktop environment.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff within the organization and from the client.
  • Work autonomously to agreed-upon client deadlines.
  • Deliver deliverables in accordance with oobe and client policy.
Requirements:
  • Extensive knowledge in application packaging, upgrades, and deployments in a large-scale hybrid Windows environment.
  • Experience with packaging applications for Intune and troubleshooting application deployment issues.
  • Experience with various packaging technologies including InstallShield, MSIX, Orca, and application virtualization.
  • Experience with Windows PowerShell scripting and/or PSAppDeployToolkit.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Essential 8 hardening for SOE/MOEs for application troubleshooting.
  • Experience troubleshooting application deployment issues related to enterprise toolsets such as AD/Entra ID, Group Policy, Intune configuration profiles, firewalls, and whitelisting technologies.
  • Continual improvement of customer environments and toolsets, development of SOPs, and enhanced automated processes.
  • Experience working in large-scale 24/7 enterprise environments.
  • Ability to mentor/support junior team members.
  • Demonstrated high-level analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated high-level written and oral skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
