Starship Production Engineer

About This Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Starship Production Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will play a critical role in driving the design and development of the Starship production line.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate propulsion, avionics, and structural components into the Starship vehicle.
  • Design and develop new manufacturing processes and tooling to meet hardware deadlines.
  • Develop a deep understanding of vehicle structures, avionics, propulsion architecture, and how the vehicle operates as an integrated system.
  • Troubleshoot hardware issues in real-time and provide feedback to eliminate repeat problems.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
  • 1+ years of hands-on engineering experience (internship and school project experience qualify).
Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • Experience building metallic structures, ideally stainless steel.
  • Ability to communicate complex topics succinctly and ask questions to verify or defend technical rationale.
  • Demonstrated experience driving and delivering significant outcomes.
