We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our Footwear team in NSW and QLD.

This is an exciting opportunity for a leader who can drive sales, lead a thriving culture, and develop people internally for future success.

About the Role

The successful candidate will oversee a footprint of Footwear retail stores and Concession network spread over Sydney and a few in QLD.

You will be responsible for driving, coaching, and delivering exceptional retail management skills and standards for your region.

Main Responsibilities
  • Reach targets and ensure staff are aware and trained on the importance of store goals and how to achieve them
  • Prepare rosters costed to achieve store budgets
  • Manage escalated store or customer complaints if required, ensuring they're dealt with promptly and professionally
  • Manage all aspects of the employee life-cycle, including recruitment, onboarding, and performance management
  • Nurture the growth and development of your direct reports to create a talent pipeline within our retail network
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience as an Area Manager in fashion apparel or footwear business
  • Ability to independently travel as required to stores and offices
  • Strong financial acumen, communication skills, and ability to coach/influence (getting your team to think commercially)
  • People-focused and Motivational Leadership qualities
  • Ability to think on your feet and move with a sense of urgency
  • Make decisions both as a team and independently
