Communications Specialist

The role involves providing speech and language services to students with communication disorders. This includes conducting comprehensive assessments, developing treatment plans, delivering evidence-based interventions, and collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct thorough evaluations to identify students' communication needs and create individualized treatment plans that address their unique requirements.
- Treatment and Intervention: Deliver targeted interventions to enhance students' communication skills, including articulation, fluency, voice, and language, through strategies tailored to meet their specific needs.
- Consultation and Collaboration: Work closely with educators, caregivers, and other specialists to ensure consistent support for students with communication disorders.
- Professional Development: Stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology by participating in ongoing professional development opportunities and staying informed about the latest research and techniques.
Essential Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Current licensure/certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with students with communication disorders
