Environmental Health Specialist Opportunity

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to our team's efforts in environmental health.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting investigations, assessments, and research to ensure compliance with regulations related to public and environmental health.

They will provide expert technical advice and support to internal and external stakeholders while delivering exceptional customer service.

We are seeking a highly qualified individual with strong knowledge and experience in environmental health and risk management principles.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting thorough investigations and assessments of public and environmental health issues
  • Providing specialized technical advice and support to stakeholders
  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations

The ideal candidate will possess a tertiary qualification in Environmental Health or equivalent qualifications and/or experience approved by the relevant authorities.

They will also have excellent interpersonal, negotiation, conflict resolution, and communication skills, as well as the ability to deliver high-quality customer service.

Additional desirable attributes include experience in supervising staff and mosquito management.
