The role is responsible for managing road and rail distribution, scheduling orders for dispatch, planning empty container collections, and managing miscellaneous movements. The successful candidate will also be required to participate in regular operational engagements with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to plan movements and mitigate supply chain challenges.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need at least 2 years of experience in the logistics industry. You should have experience and understanding of the usual operation of port and rail services in Australia, as well as a moderate understanding of safety in relation to heavy vehicle and chemical transport.

Achieving these key responsibilities requires strong organizational and communication skills, along with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Experience with large-scale ERP systems and front-line customer service experience are also highly desirable.
